TriCom Technical Services is a professional Information Technology consulting firm providing staff augmentation, permanent placement and outsource services to improve clients’ organizational performance.

Since our inception in 1994, we have helped clients improve the speed, efficiency and quality of their core business processes by delivering key information technology professionals to their teams. TriCom is headquartered in suburban Kansas City (Overland Park, Kansas) and has serviced over 200 Corporate Clients in 24 different states, providing more than 2000 programming/support staff in a contract, contract-to-hire, or permanent placement capacity.

Our History

Established in 1994, TriCom Technical Services is an Information Technology staffing business based out of suburban Kansas City, but with a national reach. From the outset, TriCom dedicated itself to being the premier Information Technology staffing organization in the nation.

During the first two years of existence, TriCom focused primarily within the IBM Mainframe environment working with various organizations throughout the midwest area.

However, in 1996, TriCom leveraged its local business appeal, and set out to build a national presence by recruiting and staffing the hardest-to-find technical skills in the marketplace. At the forefront of this nationwide effort, TriCom developed a niche of recruiting focusing in on PeopleSoft software.

Alternatively, a year later, TriCom developed another niche within the I.T. marketplace to take advantage of the growing Client-Server market. Highly sought after skills such as Oracle, C/C++, Java, and other Web-based technologies were at the forefront of this effort.

Today, TriCom's performance speaks for itself. Starting with no business in 1994, TriCom has been a model of success, consistently being ranked as one of the top I.T. staffing firms in the country ("Purple Squirrel" 2001) and finding itself six years after it's inception on the "Inc. 500" as the 305th fastest growing private company in the United States ("Inc. Magazine" 2000). Our Corporate partners include some of the most respected Fortune 1000 companies to small and intermediate businesses that place an emphasis on Information Technology.
